Arthouse Gallery Lunch

Last Friday Arthouse Gallery hosted an gallery luncheon to celebrate the opening of Jan Billycan & Lyda Balbal’s / Greg Mallyon’s exhibitions as well as further discuss the fascinating stories behind each work.

Emily Rohr of Short Street Gallery in Broome shared her insights along with Arthouse Gallery director Ali Yeldham. Lunch guests included Keith Munro (Curator of Indigenous Art MCA), Prue Gibson Writer, Joshua Yeldham, Lara Merrit, Liane Rossler (who works with many arts organizations, including the MCA, AGNSW, Gallery 4a, CoFA, Art Month & Kaldor Public Art Projects, Australian Architecture Association and is an ambassador for the 1 Million Women Campaign and a TEDx Sydney Thinker & collaborator), Pat Corrigan, (collector, philanthropist and patron for the arts), Ron Ramsey (Director Newcastle Regional Gallery), Tristan Sharp (Assistant Director Newcastle Regional Gallery), Emily and Michael Rohr (Short Street Gallery) and Johnny Samengo (Executive Director – Indigenous Education and Scots College).

We would like to thank everyone who joined us and encourage you all to come down and view these stunning exhibitions which will be on display until Saturday 16 June.
